FATHER AND SON JAILED AFTER SEPARATELY SEXUALLY ABUSING SAME TWO GIRLS
A father and son have been sentenced to prison for horrific sexual assaults involving two young girls, with neither aware of the other's actions.Terrence Brown, aged 60, and his son Lee Brown, aged 21, committed the abuses separately, which only came to light after police investigations began.
Both men received custodial sentences at Liverpool Crown Court for crimes that started in 2017.
Cheshire Police began investigating Terrence Brown in September 2021 after reports emerged that he had sexually abused two girls in Warrington spanning from 2017 to 2021.
During the investigation, the victims revealed that Lee Brown had also sexually assaulted them during 2017 and 2018.
The two men, from Great Sankey, Warrington, engaged in separate abuses and were unaware of each other's crimes, according to Cheshire Police.
In police interviews, Terrence Brown denied all allegations involving sexual touching, whereas Lee Brown confessed to abusing the girls, citing curiosity as his motive.
Lee Brown pleaded guilty to eight charges of sexual assault, which included multiple counts of oral rape and requesting inappropriate touching, and was sentenced to four years and four months in prison.
His father denied the allegations but was convicted of 11 sexual offences, including inappropriate contact with two girls and showing one of them cartoon pornography, resulting in a sentence of six years and six months.
